It seems that most people on this board want Mr Houllier to be sacked or resign from the job. FACT
If we manage to make the Champions League do you really believe that Houllier will leave?
I understand where people are coming from when they say they wish the team would lose so that Houllier goes, i always felt this was wrong but ask yourself this question...
Would you rather finish 5th in the table and get a new manager, or finish 4th and have another season of Houllier?
What do you really think?

I would rather finish 4th cos there is no guarantee that a new man will change it and everyone will be shouting for him to go then.4th and houllier out would be the ideal situation champions leauge football will help to attract a top class manager.

that is a bloody good question . i guess the answer is i want both well in a way .I'm pretty sure if we finish fourth the board will give houllier another six months at least and if we finish fifth he will go,the question is will he be the first manager to be sacked for fourty years or will he be talked into leaving,as for wanting the team to lose it's easy to say that but cast your mind back when blackburn came to anfield needing a win to clinch the premiership at the expense of manure,as much as i wanted blackburn to win the championship i still couldn't bring myself to cheer for anybody but liverpool

I don't,for one minute,believe that any Liverpool fan wants their team to lose.Sometimes things are said that are born out of frustration but in the cold light of day and when the game is in play aren't really ment.
