On more serious note I think one or two are being a bit quick to write Cisse off as a striker. I said from very early in the piece that we paid way over the odds for him. We did of course, he was a typical Houllier signing but that doesn't mean he won't eventually make a player. I've been encouraged by his displays of late and would start him every game up front. It's probably the case though of making do. Let's face it, you could hardly ask Morientes to play wide right now could you?, totally lacking in pace and drive as he is. Mind you, Zenden does it on the left so I guess anythings possible.

I have to admit he was useless against Boro, but he had a few decent displays in pre-season, so we'll see how he does over the next 10 games or so...
