i wasn't in the army when i had mine done, i was just pissed

i had a sun on the inside of my ankle at tattoo jack's on west derby road in 1993, this kind of thing:

jack had a can of guiness on the go at dinnertime when i went in and combined with his tourette's syndrome filled me with confidence

I've heard plenty of stories about this Jack fella, seems really professional he does.

sh!t tattoo jacks, i used to live down the road opposite, the tattoo place was tiny and under the railway bridge. he used to let us stand at the door and watch sometimes. this si going back to the 70's so i dont know if its in the same place or even the same guy

good hsout, I was thinking that about the writisng as it is going to be on myarm/shoulder, and it's probably not a big enough area.

The writing would take a lot of work too I'd imagine, it's very fine, so would probably hurt like hell.

I believe he is still there peewee, I've read about a few people on RAWK getting stuff done by him.

about your tattoo,are you going to have colour or just black ink. i have one coloured thats 20 years old and one black about 7 years old.

i think a black liverbird with black stars would look good. i hate yellow or gold on tattoos, and the red discolours. what are your feelings

was thinking that, but i'm sure if you take good care of it the colour would'nt fade too much.

Probably a red Liverbird with a thin black outline. Not sure about the stars, might look a bit tacky in gold but that was my initial thought.

I have 2 tatts on me upper arms theyre in black in ink ,both tribal designs! I like them both alo and dont regret them atal!! I got them off the net andadded a few bits meself so they are original!!A guy called Mac in Belfast works from home he,s a real good artist and does them cheap as its his hobby and passion in life!!
I think the design u picked looks great,the only thing ive been told is if ur gonna get colours make sure u Know for a fact the artist is using top notch ink!!Aparrently the best (most expensive that most dont use) lasts and keeps the original shade!

not too far, just the other side of green lane. in fact i used to play for Moscow FC in the tuebrook junior sports league in the late 70's, our manager lived on moscow drive, hence the name.

it was that long ago davie fairclough come to present our medals one season and he was still playing for liverpool

I've always been partial to black for tats, a lot of the time the colour just doesn't work or it fades. I like the black stars regardless of which colour the bird is.

yeh peewee's suggestion of the black stars was a very good one, will look much better than the gold IMO.
