i was scanning thru the news channels last night, when low and behold i saw snow falling in Australia (victoria i think).

i understand this doesnt happen, so can some of our antipodoan folk shed light on this??

does anyone have any theories or comments??

of course it snows in Oz, they've got the Blue Mountains (SE oz) where you can go skiiing in winter

?? what the f#ck !!!! the world is coming to an end.

ps. it is unusual for snow to fall in melbourne.

They do get snow in the mountains on the East coast Judge and Tasmania as well but yeah its very rare for there to be snow in Melbourne
But as they are Victorians, they deserve everything they get

it was seriously bad snow on the roads in victoria. australian weather never gets a shout on tv.

i didnt mean the stuff in the mountains, it was the extreme weather they got in the flatlands etc

It's all about climatic change i think..

CO, CO2, NxO, CH4 etc gases and hydrocarbons have f.ucked the atmosphere :angry:

, created the 'greenhouse effect" what causes these climatic chaos..

the aussies have stolen our snow i reckon, we hardly get any snow now compared to when i was a kid

back in the 70's we could guarantee 2 or 3 heavy snowfalls every winter, now it's more like 1 heavy snowfall every 2 or 3 winters
