Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I feel like sh*t! Wolves lost, L`pool lost, Crewe Alex. lost !
Wolves and Crewe had the opportunity to take a break from the struggle and breathe easier, and L`pool had the chance to be 4th and look to Europe next season.
I don`t understand how it is POSSIBLE to miss chances like the ones MO missed! Oops, I`ve written the same thing before ! It`s almost against nature ! Is he really that fed up with you all ?

Thor all strikers miss what looks like easy opportunities not one world class striker has never missed a sitter.  We are spending so much time reflecting on Owen's prefomance while we forget the other opportunities missed by other players.  Maybe that's just a reflection of how highly Owen is really thought of. RVN misses bucket fulls in games but because his team mates like scholes can score he doesent get the supporters criticising him yet Fergie has dropped him a number of times this season. Liverpools players are not to blame the manager is.

Michael Owen is not to blame.

He is off colour but he is one of our top players, and we owe him so much for his past achievements.

I think Owen has sunk as low as he can go and when he returns to form he'll start banging them in.

However, Owen's poor form shows up the weakness of the side: other players should be knocking them in when Owen is off form or injured, but they aren't.

People go on about Owens form but the lack of form in the whole team is making Owen look even worse. Van Nistelrooy isnt really firing on all cylinders yet he aint getting the same flak as Owen, in fact bar Henry and Angel, no one is setting the prem alight. look at Crespo, he looks like an imposter.

GIVE MICHEAL A BREAK AND BACK HIM VOCALLY ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT

JBG do you think Owen has resigned himself to leave Anfield.  I look at him and I wonder is he going through the motions because he's decided already that he's off in the summer.  There's lots of bull about that the big clubs would'nt want him but I tell you this as an Irishman just wait to the summer when under a good nmanager with good players around him he shows just how good he really is.

I don't think that Michael Owen will be a Liverpool F.C. player next season.

This is one of the things I hate about Liverpool fans.

Deflecting the blame away from the so called 'Untouchables' and shifting it on the players who are less respected.

Blame should be shared where it is needed.

FACT:Owen has been one of our worse players recently.

And that cr#p about how much we owe him for his past achievements, boll##ks.

Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of Owen's, but when he is playing s##t, he is playing s##t, you can't hide that fact by blaming other players.

I thought his contract has another year on it?
And Owen still seems passionate to play for his home club, I think we'll surely have him for next season at least.

Some players who go to Italy from England crash and burn. Ian Rush, Paul Ince etc.

He may go to Spain, then come back after a while like Steve McManaman.

I think he'll go to Chelsea.
