No no no, what happened was that Dudek had a row with reina so when reina dived to save a shot, Dudek tried to do the peoples elbow on him. Reina with his great agility managed to move out of the way just in time so Dudek laid the smackdown on the ground instead of reina and thats how he broke his ELBOW.

That's not what I heard. Apparantly, Carson was trying to stop him saving a penalty from Didi, but he saved it anyway.

Of course, Carson lost his temper and dropkicked him in the face. Dudek ran to the other side of the pitch with Carsons boot still stuck in his face, but managed to tag in Garcia anyway.
Garcia sprinted down to Carson, tried to push him, but tripped over Cisse's foot.
Carson got angry at Cisse, he thought he could take him on himself.

So, Carson and Cisse are squaring up, Dudek has just managed to pull the boot out of his face, and Garcia broke his nose.

Dudek threw the boot, which hit Zenden in the leg, and ran over to Carosn. He drop kicked him in the face and fell akwardly, hurting his elbow.

What a load of :censored:!!..there's fukk all wrong with dudek?,,he only tripped over his hands!! :(

I don't think the injury situation is that big a deal to be honest

Dudek was gonna be in the reserves anyway, it just means we'll have to wait till January to sell him

Traore and Zenden are out, but we're pretty well covered on the left and Warnock and Riise will be solid enough.  Zenden's back for the Boro game anyway

And Crouch, well it's probably the best time for him to be injured anyway as he's suspended for the first couple of league games.  We'll be fine against Sofia without him.

Kewell we've done without for most games over the last 2 years so it's more of a case of it being a bonus when he's fit rather than us missing him when he's out injured.

The only position I'm genuinely worried about is centre back.  We have to get someone in before the transfer window shuts otherwise we could be in trouble, but I think once Baros gets sold we'll start seeing some developments here.

yeah i am also really concerned, If Rafa ends up buying Owen and skimps on the CB then hes taking a big gamble, it would set fear in the hearts of all Liverpudlians if say........ Carra or Hypia.......got injured for a couple of weeks, especially the very important start of the season.

:knock wood:

Injuries are just another hurdle for the team to climb.  I'm sure this year will be better than last.  That was brutal having Cisse out for most of the year.

"Benitez calls on Barragan

Spanish youth international Antonio Barragan has been added to Liverpool's squad for their Champions League trip to CSKA Sofia on Wednesday as boss Rafael Benitez is without eight players through injury.

The former Sevilla full-back, 18, has impressed in training since moving to Anfield this summer, and he could play a part in the third qualifying round first-leg match in Bulgaria.

Goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek's dislocated elbow has only added to Benitez's problems.

He will be without £7m striker Peter Crouch (hamstring), new winger Boudewijn Zenden (muscle strain), full-backs Djimi Traore (muscle injury) and Josemi (thigh) while Harry Kewell, Neil Mellor and Florent Sinama-Pongolle are all still recovering from operations.

Liverpool have also thinned out their squad recently by allowing Anthony Le Tallec, Carl Medjani and Chris Kirkland to leave on loan, while Antonio Nunez has now completed his move to Celta Vigo."

I hope to god Rafa signs Jorge Andrade, instead of Owen.

I think we need a CB a lot more than we need a forward.
