Liverpool FC have some of the best set of fans in the world. I am sure they will not make life difficult for the players. But not sure of their support for GH though.

We have 10 more games to go. Although, i want GH to leave, I still rather we qualify for the champions league even if that means GH might stay. I support the team not the manager.

yeah we need the champions league for financial reasons. it's worth about 12-15m quid. our players are only going to improve by playing against the best european players week in week out. not that we will have deserved it if we do get there. whoever gets 4th will no doubt do it with the lowest points total in history.

this thai takeover would be like a dream for liverpool football club if only we had a manager who we could trust to spend the available transfer money wisely. houllier would no doubt blow it on "great potential" rather than proven quality.

houllier has bought some players that fair enough havnt been great i.e. biscan and diouf but really he's bought some good players too. Kewell has been great this season and finnan looks good but maybe a little inconcistent. Really the only bad players he's bought have been in the pre season before last, but even the players he bought then have shown glimpses of what they can really do, most recently cheyrou. In his first season hyypia, henchoz and hamman were three great signings as was heskey in his first full season. If he was given the kind of money this takeover could bring im quite confident he could make some very good signings. This would also help to keep owen to stay as by the mass amount of money that would become available and the amount of money we would spend would reinforce the ambition of the club.

the thing with the kewell transfer is that we were helped by the fact that harry kewell said that liverpool were the only english side he would sign for as he was a liverpool fan. had we paid 18m for the guy like we would've had to to sign duff, i think people would still be asking questions. the fact we got him for 2m means he's the bargain of the century.

GH's transfer record cannot be compared with Wenger. 5.5 million for Biscan ? 3.5 million for Diao ?

Wenger 150,000 for toure. 10 million for henry (he is worth at least 5 times that amount now).......

Ill be at the game on wednesday - I live in Winchester on near the south coast so it is only my 3rd game of the season. I will be singing my heart out and hoping everyone else in the ground will be doing the same. I hope Mikey gets a good reception. It would be good to get some revenge on the Pompey buggers after the FA Cup ***** up.

I won't be singing Houlliers name
