How dare Ally McCoist and Andy fuc.kin Townsend disect us?As i type i listen to they're sh,ite on tv!To judge a club like us on our pre season friendly's,that inconveiniently happen to be Champions league qualifiers because UEFA cant sort a fu.ckin rule out is beyond me!
We apparently look 4th rate!
We apparently look as if we struggle to find a replacement for Stevie G ? WOT FUC>N TEAM WOULD NOT FIND THAT A STRUGGLE!
We look to me as if we are a well comptent team with a sensble manager that will not let his team peek too early!We are Liverpool and always will be! Judge at end of season,not start! As to say we are a 1 man team? Ask Arjen robben wot he thinks?Ask Roy keane!Ask Patrick Viera?

i have to agree with ally's comments that we were poor 1st half, there is no arguing that.
but when he starts to make his comments on where we are going to finish and all that, that is total utter bollox! it wasn't even are first team!
i think ally's just bitter that a scottish team has gone out already. and soon to follow rangers!

Why should the European Champs get out of 1st gear?
To appease a tv audience?
To appease a lot of people that support us from Istanbul?
To appease fans that dont understand if we peak early we will be our own enemy?
Or should we stay in 1st gear?
And step up when its required?
When rafa sees fit?
When we have a challenge?
When we need 2?
Nobody on here should think a single negative thought about our team until the season starts proper!
Forward is our only direction!

I agree with them that we wont challange for the title or break into the top three, we dont have the same quality.

The comment on Gerrard is a bit over the top, obviuosly no team looks the same minus a worldclass player.

I have to disagree there CHL, we will break into the top three, but I do agree with your coment about missing a world class player, VIERA! hence the top three finish!

Bulls.hit! Man Utd are not better than us! Arsenal have talent in abundence,yes!But if Rafa concentrates on the premiership why can we not challenge for second?
Chelsea will win the league,yes,money rules the world unfortunately!
It seems in light of the Roman invasion 2nd is gonna be 1st for a few years,but?while we wait for the monster to consume itself?
In the meantime we should aim as high as UTD or Arsenal,not to would only be an insult to ourselves!

Let them talk themselves to death.

These are 2 ex-pro players who were supposed to have loads of talents but actually did not win a lot of medals. McCoist's exploits in Scotland does not count because it was a mickey mouse league and he constantly failed in Europe.

I have to say that i didnt see the game but by all accounts we had a very average performance,which honestly doesnt concern me this early on in the season.

As for these so-called experts/pundits its in one ear and out the other .We proved em wrong last year ,we will do the same this year.

No team in the world that is in pre-season is playing well. Chelsea only beat a :censored:

poor MLS side 2-1, and Manchester United lost 2-1 to a J-League side, I guess that means that they're fourth rate.

It's pre-season, the early CL qualifiers are like pre-season friendlies and thus no player is willing to burn himself out.

We don't need to play at the top to get past the likes of TNS and Kaunas.

It's insane, we've won more matches without Gerrard in the team than we have when he was in the squad. Proving that we don't depend on Gerrard. We've won key games in the CL without Gerrard, like the one against Juventus in the second leg.
