Owen missing on purpose - Just hear me out

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I dont mean to offend anyone including michael owen with this but i have to say it.I think hes playin bad on purpose.Just here me out before you shout what.Look at how he was playin yesterday. That is not michael owen.Confidence or not he is better than that.He said if liverpool get 4th he'll stay on.But i really dont think he wants to stay on.That few chances he had on goal. We'l realistically he didnt put much effort in now did he.Infact he kicked it at the bloody keeper. And not even had shoots. It was like he was fu*ckin passing it to him.And that peno.Well god im a defender for a local sunday team and ive taken penos better. It just looked he didnt care when he missed either. There was no despair nothing. He did sweet f*ck all and i dont think he should play another match.Im sure that there will be many people goin mad to this talkin bout all the good years he put in and i agree. But he has lost interest in liverpool and i think he doesnt give a shi*te where they come this year as long as it aint 4th.Before you kill me just think about his last few matches.Hes no conviction, no determination, nothing thats goin to score a goal. Lets face it he doesnt care anymore and wants to leave.Hey we no hes a gambling man.Maybe he could be doin a Grobbelar on it.Well u cant say its out of the question.Cus something is deffinatly up and its not his "lack of confidence".

Cant agree with you . Its confidence , fitness , family problems , and Houlliers team sellection and style of play that is his problem . I think its disrespectful of a great Liverpool legend to say what you have said . You might have well have called him a connard .

Firstly Michael Owen has not achieved legend status, thats demeening to the great players of our club who have.I don't think he is deliberately playing cr#p,but he has suffered for his injuries and is and never will be the speedy wippet he once was.GH's refusal to hand the penalty responsibility to someone else smacks of totally arrogance and will only hinder his failing attempts to hang onto the managers job.

Agree supersub, but with the right training regime Owen will get that speed back, Ronaldo did. Every time GH makes these arrogant comments, it just makes you realise that Ginola was right all along. GO now

Michael is way off the pace at the moment, but I agree with the other posts that this is more down to fitness, injuries and personal problems rather than the boy not pulling his weight.
Things are not helped by his agent telling him tales about Real Madrid and Chelsea who both seem interested in buying him in the summer.
But the worse culprit is GH who simply doesn't know how to handle people in crisis. He just makes it worse.

remember world cup qualifying for USA 94, ginola give ball away, houllier blamed him for france not qualifying, i mean is it a team game or what. To blame one person for a country not ualifying is absurd. Ginola said that he ws the most arrogant and  nasty men he had ever worked with. Seems he doesn't like flair players, sorry, quality players, Fowler, macca, Ince ,jamie

France lost at home to ISRAEL in the same campaign, I note that wasn't blamed
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer
