LIVERPOOLANYTIME wrote:Yea I agree with a lot you say Architect, but I dont understand why the ethnic background of the youth who attacked the teacher is needed. It would be the same if the attack was done by a white youth, they wouldnt report it as 'a white youth has raped a teacher' so why should it be aby different for non-whites??
And I think also the point about a black man killing a white man, is a bit on the unfair side. Because how many white men have been killed by black men, as part of a RACIST attack??
Thats the difference, if it is a racial attack, they will report either way - ie; 'a white youth was beaten in a racially motivated attack by asian youths' or 'a black man was attacked by a white man in a racially motivated attack'.
IMO unless the crime commited is racially motivated, then the origin/race of a person is totally irrelevant.
Example; the majority of peadophiles are 'white' (much as in the same way the majority of muggers are [in london] 'black'), but we do not see it reported as 'another white peadophile is in jail tonight......' so I dont see why it should be any different for anybody else, as long as it is not a racially motivated crime!

Unfortunatley racists attacks are a regular occurence in many citys, but not I hasten to add in liverpool. As Woolyback stated we have one of the oldest black communities in Britain and people mix with no problems at all.
This terrible murder has shocked us all,and my deepest sympathy goes to this young lads family. The sooner the animals who commited this crime are behind bars the better.
Next time you come up for the match, try and stay overnight your hub caps will be quite safe, and I feel sure you would have a great night on the town.
