Not really but theres nothing new in the coincidence threory, it was being trawled around pre CL Final this year and look what happened .................

I think I read in here that Johnny Mac had "disgraced" himself last weekend (his words not mine). he didn't go into details which served only to set my mind racing as to what exactly he had done !!!!!!

as for all the coincidence stuff, the CL win stuff maybe WAS an omen, I don't normally buy into all that, but I did say that if we beat Chelsea then our name was on that cup and i could just feel it in my bones apart from a period of about 30 minutes on 25th May. Anyway, that I DID believe in but go out to CSKA over 2 legs? Nah :no

To add to all the omen stuff, i'm a true liverpool fan thru and thru,

i was born in 1981
my son was born in 2005

we are both the same star sign

and we were both born year of the cockeral, (keep with me)

all throughout the CL i had him on my lap wearing his lfc kit and we never lost a game,

i watched the final in the pub with my buddies, gutted at half time i'd never lost faith, i called my wife and told her to put my little boy in front of the tv and let him watch the 2nd half, after telling her how important this was she did, and the rest as we say is history............

In '81 there were 52 Wednesdays. There will be 52 Wednesdays in 2005.

In '81 we had a PM. This is also the case in 2005.

The Sun (I'm NOT refering to the shat paper) was around in '81. It is still here in '05.

LFC played their home games at Anfield. We still do.

Eating chocolate was a way of getting fat. Still is.

People drove Ford cars. Even now.

Grass tended to be green. No change there.

Gypsys were scruffs that stole and robbed. No different.

The sky was blue. (apart from when cloudy/dark). The same.

Any more comparisons to draw?....Ah yes...

Back in '81 we had 11 players on the pitch. Guess what...!?!...Yup...11 will line up against Sophia.
11 DIFFERENT players. Rafa will be in charge, and there's no way we are going out to them this year, provided we play to a quater of our capabilities.

But you never know.....!!!!!
