Allright boys - i am a bulgarian a CSKA Sofia fan and a Liverpool too. So lads i am sincerely sorry about all the tragic events that happened to Michael Shields but on the other hand as a bulgarian i insist for a justice and punishment for the man who hit the bulgarian boy with a giant rock. I dont know is it Michael Shields or somebody else but its a focking crime isnt it? How would u feel if a bulgarian comes to England and smash somebody`s head with a focking stone??? A little bit abgry i think. If the court and Michael`s lawyer proof that he is innocent he should be released immediately of course. But if he is guilty he must assume his sentence. The trial is for a murder attempt for fock sake its not for a small theft isnt it ? So lads look sensible. And one more thing - dont even think for some outrages in Sofia :angry:

Michael Shields is innocent mate. A man named Graham Sankey has admitted to the crime and from what I have read on another Liverpool website (RAWK), things are looking more positive for Michael, and he may be released in the near future.

You are right, it is a horrendous crime and the person who actually did it should be punished severely, but to jail an innocent person is also an outrage.

I don't think you'll find Liverpool fans will cause toruble in Sofia, their is tlak of a boycott of the match or a silent protest where fans will bring stickers, banners etc in support of Michael.

Hopefull Michael Shields will have been released before the match anyway. YNWA.

Does anyone else feel a bit uneasy about all this Neverton bashing? I mean, I've given them a fair bit (and by that I mean, a lot) of stick over the years and I enjoy a laugh at their expense as much as the next Red, but I can't help feeling that we're tempting fate. I don't know about you guys (well, I probably do) but on the subject of Europe, I'm going to reserve my comments until after we are safely through.

Its not fair? its f.cking blankety action. So if Michael is really innocent the CSKA fans will support u in your silent protest. WE DONT WANT INNOCENT PEOPLE TO GO IN JAIL. BUT WE WANT JUSTICE AND SENTENCE CRIMINAL WHO HARDLY KILLED A BULGARIAN. I simpathize with the family of Michael and really sorry about him. Hope the justice will triumph. Hope there is gonna be a good matches between our two teams.

I watched the draw this morning and was a little gutted we didn't get the blue kuntz, however it was mighty close we were the next team drawn out after them, uefa have pulled off a major stunt managing to pair them with one of the hardest teams in the draw, they'll have no chance against the spainards, and uefa know this as they would never let 4 strong english teams and 1 pile of sheat in the comp, and we'll be laughing all the way to paris!

Villareal are an excellent team and exactly the kind of team Everton really could have done without drawing.

If Moyes gets past them it would be among his biggest achievement.....Villareal are good enough to get a decent result at Goodison and whipe the floor with them in Spain.

Manhattan hopes they enjoy their incredibly brief "Match-To-Get-Into-The-Champions-League" experience.

If by some miracle, Frog Moyes uses black magic and voodoo to get into the group stages, then Manhattan will enjoy watching Europe's finest hand them their sorry @$$e$ each game day.

Except of course when Manhattan is watching Liverpool FC waste all the teams they face, because we are the greatest club in the world.....except perhaps FC United Of Manchester or as they like to known as "F-CUM", which to Manhattan sounds like a sexually transmitted disease.

Everton will turn to new Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina for advice ahead of their Champions League qualifying tie against Villarreal.
Reina arrived at Anfield from the unfashionable La Liga outfit last month after helping them achieve Champions League qualification for the first time in their history.

Now Blues' midfielder Mikael Arteta is now hoping to see if he can glean any information from his fellow Spaniard before the first leg tie in a fortnight's time.

"I have played in Spain against Reina, and know him," says Arteta. "Now he is in Liverpool and I am going to speak to him about the game to see if he can offer any advice."
