How is Crouch worth more than Morientes and Garcia?
he aint! simple as!.........
we were blackmailed into giving southampton a nice transfer kitty to spend in division one mate!
Rubber faced ,harry redknapp comment...."if LFc want him, they are going to have to pay up! "
Rick parry thought this was good business somehow? but not the small sum to Real madrid for a glimpse of that Figo magic for 1 or 2 seasons! what a hefty 2 m?
I think 2 million plus figo's wage demands and the fact that he is getting older not better compared to 7 million and the fact that crouch won't ask a retarded fee and his ability is getting better makes it look like we dished out on a better deal.
Figo is class, but we do not know how he will perform in the prem. Crouch we do, so why not " play it safe " I know its kind of a bold thing to say in this regard, but I believe its true

Rio - 6'2"
Terry - 6'2"
Campbell - 6'1"
You do the f**king maths. The guy will be heading balls with his feet planted on the ground ahead of people that are jumping as high as they can.

Yeah I do mate, he was an ugly blue nose sh*thead f*cker, who plays for a relagation bound team!
Rafael Benitez has spoken of his excitement at the imminent arrival of Peter Crouch and explained how the England international will add a new dimension to Liverpool's game.
Crouch will finalise his move from Southampton after undergoing a medical on Wednesday. He'll sign a four-year deal with the Reds and join up with his new team-mates at their Swiss training camp.
Benitez is a big admirer of the tall striker since watching him score against Liverpool at St Mary's in January and he's relishing the prospect of having him in his ranks for the new season.
"He is a player I like," says Benitez. "I hope to see the player tomorrow, or maybe in two days in Switzerland. He is another kind of player for us. He is good in the air, he can keep the ball and play the ball.
"When you think about playing away we had many problems to keep the ball and with Peter we have many options.
"We lost eleven games away from home last season and so we needed to change things. Crouch will give us more possibilities. He keeps the ball well, he can bring others into the game and we'll be able to go forward more. I know what he can do and I am sure he will do a good job for us."

garcia: , thas my opinion... dnt loose too much sleep over it faggot.
arson: we were the only ones besides chelsea willing to pay £750k
orientes: ur excuse for him hasnt made him worth £6M yet has it? no.. so wats ur point?
crouch: take that penis out of ur mouth n read the bit i sed about the "other side of the coin"
maybe crouch will come good, but im sick of reading "have faith in rafa" ...benitez has not done anything special in the transfter market in the last 13months... ur still caught up in champions' league hysteria. he is a master tactician and 2nd to non in man-managment, but again... not exactly an arsene wenger in the transfer market.
Its a fair point, but Crouch maybe on a 50k a week deal now?
no one know the true figures unless they were sat in the boardroom with the player/his agent and rick parry.

Harry redknapp said something about lfc offering him 8 times the pay. Maybe he's just exaggerating
