yes I know,I was just being argumentative.Im still clinging to distant memories of Liverpool dominance in Europe.

It's a sign of our strength back in the 70's and 80's that although we haven't won the European Cup in 20 years we are still joint 3rd in the all time list since the tournament began.
With 4 wins we are level with Ajax and Bayern munich. Only AC Milan ( 6 ) and Real Madrid ( 9 ) have won it more times.
We have a rich history in Europe and particularly the European cup , will we add to it in the near future ?
