me and my mate wrote this one not that long ago at school
(to the tune of Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers)
Scouts and spies from Chelsea try to steal our Steven Gerrard
And little boys from Manchester dream of European Glory
But none can match the kind of things that we have seen at Anfield
Its the, end of the game and Liverpool FC are leading
Nando's rising for a headed goal to get the fans a-cheering
And none can match the fans we have at our home here at Anfield
Watch Alonso pass the ball like no-one could imagine
Cisse's on the end the ball is in just watch the fans reaction
First goal is scored
Hear the fans roar
Dreams we have here at Anfield
Dreams we have here at Anfield
No-one gets past Carra hes the wall to the goal
He's the modern day Alan Hansen
And there are teenage lads from spain we signed
That we cant wait to see in action
And we have 5 stars on our uniform from the European Cup
Europe may be the final frontier but we've conquered it enough to own it
And all round England they hear the cheers and sing our praises off station to station
And the Title's not that far away now that Rafael is with us
Down 3-0 in Istanbul we came back from the dead
Everybody's seen it and they cant believe we did it
First goal is scored
Hear the fans roar
Dreams we have here at Anfield
Dreams we have here at Anfield
Dreams we have here at Anfield
Dreams we have here at Anfield
Title droughts lead to a very rough road but they also breed creation
Baros scores the net wobbles and its just another a good vibration
And nothing in the world can save you from Liverpool's reincarnation
No other club comes close to matching our great history
We're better than the rest, we've passed that test
we covered ourselves in glory
First goal is scored
Here the fans roar
Dreams we have at Anfield
walk on
