Hollywood, Igor has more pace than Didi Hamann, but is miles behind Hamann at DMC because he is less adept at reading and anticipating potential threats. Perhaps his struggles are also due to the high speed tempo of the English game and would flourish where he has a bit more time on the ball.
He has the height and the pace to be a resonably good DC and perhaps the strikers in the Greek league do not exert a lot of physical force on defenders as the EPL.
