I agree with JBG about the fact that he is proven. The thing i always go on about is that we should be buying 'proven' premiership players. It doesn't matter if they're French or whatever so long as they are proven, unlike all the cr#p that GH has bought over the last couple of years.
Can anyone think of any players he's picked up from outside this country and made in to great (or at least better) players? There's only Sami that springs to mind for me? Maybe Baros?
