Below is what I posted before the last Derby

Next weekend Anfield will once again be infested by Bluenoses.I think the time has come,to treat Evertonians like
any other away fans and confine them to one section of the ground.I know this has aways been regarded as The friendly derby, but not anymore, those days are long gone its more like civil war now.
Everton only recieve the same allocation as other visiting clubs, but tickets still fall into the wrong hands. This situation is now getting out of hand, pockets of Bluenoses are scattered allover the ground. The atmosphere at a derby is tense enough without waiting for all hell to break outin the stands. This is not a pleasent enviorment to watch football in especially for younger fans.
Now is the time to put an end to this situation, the Police would not allow Man.Utd supporters to enter all parts of the ground so why allow Evertonians. With the added importance of this game non segregation of fans is a recipe for trouble.

With hindsight Iwouldnt segragate the ground,I WOULDNT GIVE THEM ANY TICKETS.

Bit drastic NO.You have your club, we have ours the less we see of you the more it suits me.

Iwould have a pint with you anytime mate, but go the Derby with you  no chance.

Well said RB mate

well its a sad state of affairs,i will not lower myself to RB`s level,i respect liverpool fc and there supporters, football wouldnt be the same without the rivalry, obviously there are a lot of bitter blues and reds..RB obviously being one of them..i got no time for bitter blues or reds...

and cisses_gona_get_you..dont be influenced by views like that,he is wrong

The derby used to be celebrated in Liverpool as an opportunity to enjoy some friendly banter with families often split down the middle Red or Blue but like its been said, times have changed and for the worse in my opinion.

Maybe its symptomatic of a wider problem in society where mutual respect for other peoples allegainces and beliefs were upheld but no more ..............

People point o the after events of Heysel and the subsequent banning of all English clubs being the ctalyst that caused the bitterness towards LFC from Everton fans as EFC were champions that year and denied the chance to enter the European Cup. However the facts speak for themselves as the following Season Liverpool secured the double beating Everton (who apparrently were going to sweep all before them in Europe that season) to the title and the FA Cup.

I've no time for ANYONE who isn't prepared to debate the facts as often they substitute their lack of knowledge of the game for blind hatred and shallow insults.

Maybe I am bitter,Iam also a realist. It is a shame but things have moved on the friendly Derbies are history.Of course we all have friends who are red or blue, you must have noticed even he banter beetween friends has taken a downward spiral Everton fans have always hated Liverpool, when the european ban for English teams was brought in after Heysel they hated liverpool even more. How many times have we been accused of preventing Everton from winning the European Cup.

You say you have no time for bitter blues or reds very commendable. Is that why you have come on this forum, like me sick of whinging bitter blues.

Can I just ask have you posted this on a blue forum,if so I be I would be interested in the response.

Nothing personal lad just the way things are.

RB you are entitled to hate everton, thats up to you,i prefer to keep the rivalry as light hearted as possible, unfortunately not all everton fans are like me and lots of liverpool fans are like you..but maybe just maybe we can all be friends again but i wont hold my breath
