The anti-kewell brigade - Can we dispell the myth of the final

Would you not give him a least until Jan to prove himself,

fair play his performances haven't been up to much, but we have nothing to lose out of it, i can't see anyone paying top Dollar for him now, so why not give him a chance now he is fit, and hopefully on his toes, because of the other players who can play in that position???

good point, we would all be pretty sick if he left for peanuts, only to become the player he was at leads next season...as I've said, the guy has no excuses now, his injury is sorted and he's back in full training, Rafa even rested him from the pre-season friendly to make sure he recovers from surgery.  It's now or never Harry, prove yourself lad!

I think that Harry will be at Liverpool for a few more years as Rafa Benitez seems to like the player. He mentioned in the past that he was impressed by Harry Kewell in his leeds days. I'm confident that RB can help Harry get back to that form.

The first three months he was quick and intelligent and looked a good signing if not a great one.

Since then he's got 3 goals and been a disgrace. He can't beat a man to save his life and has very little pace in comparrison to what he used to have.

The lads a bad footballer. He was at one point extremely prommising, he's lost it and simply needs bouncing out of this club and told in no uncertain terms 2 years is long enough for a "great" player to show something.

I wouldn't give him the time of day in the street, let alone another chance.

Lets not forget the olympiakos game kewell changed that and leverkusen first leg he ran the line very well. Im a big fan of harry he's an intelligent player and has great talent othewise rafa wouldn't pick him when he is only 70% fit. In Rafa i Trust kewell will be great.

One other thing: Wingers are strange players anyhow they are never consistent. Duff was a world beater not great last season. Robben is very hot and cold, giggs, c ronaldo, beckham, SWP all go through poor patches of play. They always need assurances from coaches. Macca could fly past full backs then lost confidence and never went past one for a full season once.

Yeah I agree with that. He set upthe pongolle goal that lifted us. I don't hink he is faking his injuries I think he is just very unlucky. But credit to Rafa he has showed great patience and faith with him and I hope harry will be willing to repay that. I was very excited when kewell origionally signed and I still believe he can become a good player under Rafa.

thats why i have faith a fully fit Kewell would be an important player for us.  He has a lot to prove.....mind you, this could also work out bad, because if he doesn't have the will toprove himself after all this, then he might as well retire.

To be honest I think if he doesn't fulfil Rafa's trust this season i'd get rid. On the grounds that he is a liability. But we will wait and see.

I dare not even hope about Kewell turning up good, I have lost all faith in him.

Easier said than done, my friend. This guy has shown what a tiny heart he has and never try or show any commitment and pride. Does not even deserve half a chance, let alone being given a break by all of the Reds' fans.
