True but like so many former reds whata personality ! I saw him in Dortmund in 2001 leading the lads (Fans that is) in a rendition of YNWA and has achieced cult status ever since.
A bit of me always used to smile when you watched him attempting to lift the crowd with those flailing arms !
No one had the heart to tell him the reason we weren;t expecting to score was because he never did !!!!

He did exactly the same at Deepdale!
But even then he looked out of his depth most times!
