The west needs to pull out of the affairs of the middle east. After world war 2 I think a part of Germany should have been given to the jews to form a jewish state there. Palestine is muslim and so should the middle east.

It is easy to think your enemy is a lunatic, but bush holds the bible up and preaches about god and then kills innocent people in iraq. Using religion as an excuse for political gain is old as mankind.

The short term solution is intelligence, the long term one is getting out of middle east affairs and providing hope to the young who currenty have F all worth living for (in some of those countries).

Also, they think the killers are from England so need to look at reasons why they hate their home country, I know unemployment is very high with their community but must be other reasons too.

Oh yes, when we find who is responsible! hang them! no point hanging anyone until we are certain they did it.

Yea agree that obviously somebody did something (WHO,however, is another story as seen from earlier in the thread) but yes i agree they should be hanged if and when the evidence is conclusive. I mean c'mon innocent people lost their lives, and as we sit and type there are friends and family of the victims still in grief and despair.

I'm personally for death penalty for such atrocities and serial murders, rapes etc.

Yeah I know that some people may say that we may execute someone who'll later turn out to be innocent. But heck, that's the risk I'm willing to take, because some people won't commit these crimes when they'll have in mind that they'll face the chair.
It's also stupid for us a community in any country to suppoer from our taxes people in prisons (not all of them of course, just a small %) that are sure to commit some hideous crime just when they leave the sing sign.

That's my point of view.

on sunday on BBC news 24, they said a british born pakistani was arrested in Poland, whom police believe to be linked to the crimes in london last thursday.......thats all i heard pablo, but believe me i am NOT lying, i heard it correct mate

this is no way a slate on poland fella, it just shows that terrorism is trully global

just been on the phone to home in leeds, and the police have raided homes in the burley road area of kirkstall, and arrested folk who maybe linked to the bombings.

i live in Horsforth and its frightening to think there maybe vicious terrorists living near my home
