Somebody is lying about the gerrard situation

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Why did we get a statement from Liverpool FC that Steven Gerrrard wanted to leave the club yesterday, and today Rick Parry said that he never said that he wanted to leave the club yesterday.  Were they just trying to force his hand when he rejected the contract?

It stated clearly that his rejected contract extension signalled that he wanted to move on, and was briefly followed by a transfer request, call it as you see it.

On Sky Sports News this morning, Parry was quoted as saying that Gerrard DIDN'T say that he wanted to leave the club....there is a lot of spin and bullsh*t coming from somewhere...

i blame this at the fault of the :censored: at sfx, they are money grabbing leeches, you only have to see there track record regarding beckham and owen.they don,t represent the best interest of the player but the best interest of sfx.

Parry said Gerry was saying he doesn't think he can stay, etc. Basically hanging himself with a knife in his hand for security.

Good news everyone. Gerrard (I'm guessing Gerry) will sign tomorrow.
