we don't need to hear it twice Militia.  I feel betrayed because he was setting us up the whole year, but I wish him the best if he goes to madrid, but not if he goes to chelsea.

i think we shud hold off signing the transfer untill after the 1st round... we put him in the starting eleven, but obv he wont be there.. straight after the kick off.. we make substition n bring on the 11th man... then he'll move to chelsea... but he'll be cup-tied! :)
we've only won it 5 times

Why does he thinks he deserves a fking pay rise??!! He screw us up in cup final against chelsea with his fantastic own goal, and did practically nothing throughout the whole season!

Inconsistent!!! Not a true captain too!! Doesnt speak up for team mates on field, doesnt motivate others when we are losing too!

Lets pray he goes Chelsea pls! We need to teach him a lesson here!! ( i mean 2!!!)  :help

Probably a wild guess...but I don't think he'll be reading this forum let alone a thread about himself

Being Cup tied will mean lowering his market value significantly.

What are you all talking about. He will be gone by the end of the week. And he wont go to Chelsea either or any other premiership club for that matter. He may want to leave but hes not a scumbag. Even Michael Owen was clever enough to choose a foreign team.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

Sorry Lee but HE WASNT a good captain.

CAPTAINS lead by example, imagine WTF would happen if the rest of the team followed his current example.

Parker was SOLD by Chelsea to Newcastle a few weeks ago.  :D

Wayne Bridge is currently crocked.

The transfer deal won't go beyond £35million, talk of any more is fantasy.

Spot on, a captain does not string a club along for 18 months. A captain certainly does not talk about his uncertainty to commit to the club long term.

I'm sorry how I feel but I really hope that he gets to realise first hand how much hurt he has caused. If he wanted to leave then just be honest from the :censored: start

What gets me is that not only where we being lied to by him all season. He couldn't even face the press to tell them himself he had to get someone to do it for him which I think is rather cowardly for someone who is adored as much as he is.

It's always the same, football isnt about loyalty or anythin nemore its just all about the money.

But I guess it could have been worse, he could have left on a bosman. But based on this season I think we have a better player in alonso and as a replacement for gerrard I would most certainly like to see us go in for ballack who has 1 year left on his contract with bayern.

But it's such a shame that he was a great talent but he will be remembered for stabbing us all in the back.

I think for a move he will definately go abroad because he must have seen what happened to rooney at goodison he was almost crying. I can tell gerrard one thing which is that he will never be welcomed at anfield ever again.
