Agreed St Mike - and the stats suggest we play better without him. My heart says we must fight to keep him, but my "business head" says sell him and use the £30-35M to buy 3-4 quality players - remember Alonso cost £10.5M !!!

If Gerrard goes that sends out all the wrong signals

Even if we got 35 mil, the fact that we are selling our best player would make us a less attractive club to potential world-class signings. Its having gerrard in the side that gives us the chance of attracting top players because they want to play along side him.

We're far better off with him than without, whatever way you look at it IMO

Hes leaving it official

SPPN just taolked to his agnet and his words were

"contact negotiations have stalled and are unlikley to re-open"

RB has already contacted Snapish newspaper Marka/Marca and has said "i am ready to sell"

I have to say i am very upset and saddend but i am still a proud supporter of LFC even though this season has given me the happiest mement as well as this which is proabably the worst.

I think this is down to Gerrard and his agent,he said a few weeks ago that he had given LFC his demands its now down to them,meaning he told them how much he wants and if they dont pay it he will be off!!!

At least were not gonna get bummed into getting a rubbish deal like the owen one. I have a feeling he will go to Real not Chelsea and this will suit RB better as he can demand a £30Mil + player deal or possibly £40mil cash only.
