I can't remember the guy. I'd be surprised if we made a profit after wages and fees.

Can anyone remember a player we bought and sold at a profit. Nobody springs to mind?

Vesterveld? and didn't we sign Babble on a free only to sell him for a small fee. Liverpool arn't a selling club, never has been....hence we usally sell players once their best days are behind them.

The Fowler deal is one i do give GH a lot of credit for....didn't we get 13 million? superb money....especially seeing he was on his way out.

I have a feeling we probably owed some money to Lens for El Hadji Diouff so Diarra was probably offset against the last few instalments.
