We'll draw against 'Boro - remember a few years ago drawing 3-3 with 'boro when Ravenelli scored his debut hattrick. No sign of the old silver feather this year tho

The Arsenal game will be postponed due to the Super Cup.  Also, we have that World Club Championship in January.  It's going to be a busy season!  I'm going to take my boots to the games just in case we run out of fit players!

I'm actually quite pleased we've got Arsenal, Chelsea and Utd so early on in the season because it gives us a chance to put down a marker of intent. :alien:

We play the big three early in the season at home. This means that we face Arsenal, Chelsea and Utd in the second half of the season all away so I hope we are playing well then. Our Dec. fixtures look relatively easy  considering the amount of games to be played(then again the players might be more up for it if they were bigger teams), and the best part is the final month or so are all easy teams (again relatively speaking).

Hopfully we get off to a good start and momentum carries us the rest of the way.

Theres a big insentive to make a good start and make a serious statement we play the big 3 at the start and if we can do boro in the 1st game, that would help give us confidence on the road right away. Looking forward to Boro already, The league is number 1 priority without doubt this season the gap must be closed and weve got to look like a team capable of challenging......Wouldnt mind a trip to the new wembley though for the FA Cup final though!

Also the games against them are at Anfield so if we will win all of them so can make a stand about our objectives this season

Christmas looks tough... Lets hope for 9 points and Santa emptying his sack all over your bed!!!
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Im not impressed with having all the big 3 at home before November. I prefer to play at home after we've been away. Typical.

We haven't had a good record at Riverside in the past couple of seasons but regardless of that we need to win our opening game. We need to start winning away games and what a better way to start then by winning the first away game.

And no more yellow kits!!! :D
