Yea the 3-3 game vs Man Utd was a classic, great comeback !!! and also that Ronnie Rosenthal miss against Villa, made so much worse considering my brother is a Villa fan :( .

But JBG great analysis of the nineties mate, brought back so many memories (bad ones !!!)

Also thks St.Michale for those clips....the old days eh!!!!

Its all well and good for any of us to crack jokes about porn stars, but Macca's and Fowler's comments were indicative of the whole "We're young, we're super rich, we don't give a toss" attitude. Not exactly the frame of mind required in probably the most competitive team sport on the planet.

i used to talk frequently with fowler at the time of this article, they were interviewed in the bar next door to cream, i cant remember the name now, was it mello mello???

anyway fowler claimed they were stitched by the guy and never gave a lot of those comments. also the reporter left a tape running when he went for a p!ss and left it on the table. some of the stuff used was when their was no interview being held, it was just them larking about.

but to be honest some of the things the players used to do at the time was a bit over the top
