Fack em all. If Real bid, they're bas*ards. If Gerry wants to go, he's a thick bas*ard. The only reasonable situation is if Real buy Lampard to join their poof orgies. Then we keep Gerry, win title, FA cup and CL, Man U get relegated, Sh*tski go bankrupt, Everton are booted into league 2 for being sh*te, and Wenger has a bang on the head and replaces his entire squad with a neatly-trimmed gooseberry bush with a circumference of 7 feet.

Real probably made an enquiry to try and unsettle Gerrard as there has been talk all season about his future.  If he's going to go he will and there is nothing anyone can do about it.  I dont think he will leave, after all he loves the club and we are certainly moving in the right direction under rafa.  With a few more committed players and a bit more talent we could be a force to contend with.  You telling me Stevie wouldn't want to be a part of it?  ???

Isn't it more likely that Guti will come to Liverpool?

Probably but of what I'v seen of him (and that's not much) he seems alot like garcia. But if he does come I do hope that won't be a deal which sends stevie the other way.

If u have a look at the website of RealMadrid ull see that the club itself has recently posted every single rumours about players being linked to Real for next season by the media...as u can imagine, the staff resulting is gigantic...As anybody has said before, papers have to be sold in summer too, and if theres no news...why not to play to invent?...IMO its the only thing is happening now, maybe Real is going straight to sign Gerrard but at the same time, in the other big sprt paper in Spain, thats AS, the cover is always with a pic of Henry a week since. For Real now there are a few players almost signed: Robinho, Pablo Garcia (midfielder like Gerrard, and with him and Gravesen i cant see why  we should spend so much in another one as Stevie, thats why id stay calm if i were u)and maybe Sergio Ramos (very promising defender from Sevilla)...apart from them, it seems clear that the chairmasn will want "his annual galactico" at the end of the summer and there are lots of possible ones (Gerrard, Henry, Baptista, Adriano, Joaquin...)who knows?, anyway after 2 seasons without a trophy, i think that the policy of the club is gonna change.

P.S.- Guti is not the one signing player for Real, lol, and apart from that, Guti said at a press conference organized just for that purpose that he loved Real but had decided to leave since no coach for ages had relied on him so , if they talked about anything...seems more likely Stevie convincing him to join LFC than the other way round. IMO the just were caught by a photographer at the same beach and he was looking forward to a morbid pic.

'Gerrard to Real' rumours grow
Liverpool, Saturday June 18 2005
The Spanish sports press has cranked up speculation that Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard could be set for a big-money move to Real Madrid.

Gerrard, whose profile in Europe has risen spectacularly after leading Liverpool to victory in the Champions League final, could be the latest 'galactico' for Real and their big-spending president Florentino Perez.

The press believes negotiations are already under way between the clubs.

Diario AS report that Liverpool have already decided on a price for the 25-year-old midfielder.

The price is 45 million euros (£30million) plus three members of Real Madrid's B team - central defender Alvaro Arbeloa, midfielder Javi Garcia and forward Ruben de la Red.

Both Arbeloa and Garcia have already made their first team debuts with Arbeloa able to cover at either right back or central defence.

However, Madrid's tradition is to wait for the player to admit he wants to move - that would not be easy for the England man who indicated he was staying at the club after winning the Champions League final a month ago.

"Madrid are confident the lad will make the gesture," writes AS columnist Thomas Roncero.

Marca are also optimistic that Gerrard is bound for Spain.

The paper believe that the ongoing contract talks with Gerrard's agent Struan Marshall are a sign that Liverpool are panicking at the prospect of losing their star player and on-field figurehead.

However, they also believe Liverpool coach Rafael Benitez would be willing to let Gerrard move to Madrid in order to finance a programme of team rebuilding.

There is also the question of SFX, who look after Gerrard -the management company have good relations with Real Madrid.

"They are the same company that worked with (David) Beckham and also works with (Michael) Owen and (Jonathan) Woodgate. The three ended up at Real Madrid," claimed Marca.

I don't believe any of these rumours.

Nothing in them at all, Marca is legendary for crazy stories.
