Rather than deleting couldn't you consider locking the thread with a post to explain what is wrong with it?

I agree with XSD, couple of mine were deleted, I don't know why.

I'm not whining but a thread in WC2006 about a Azerbeijdan : Poland match (which wasn't mentioned earlier, and which was important for England too) were deleted.

I agree with idea of locking posts with knowing why was it locked and by whom. It can be deleted let's say 3 days afterwards.

this site is becoming a bit clicky. the well knowns having a go at the others, but thats half the fun. one day i'll be well known and they'll erect a statue in my honour

I personally love this site (still do, for those that know!!!

what i mean ), but seriously, i think that when people are almost attacked for a point they make, it is good to see the 'comeback' and subsequent posts, its so enjoyable, but I am talking about Football talk and when people talk sense when i say that, as opposed to people just slagging each other off - which is POINTLESS.
In my view if you are not ready to make a point and either qualify it, or are not ready to further back it up, then dont bother posting because people do tend to go off on one n here, and if you are weak,you'll be eaten alive...Some are like Lions in here :laugh:
