Madrid have asked for first option on both Lampard and Gerrard - should the clubs want to sell in the future.

However i dont think it will happen for the next 5 years atlease!

SG is one of the top midfielder in the world and even when he inked an extension to his contract with LFC, i don't think rumours about him will ever stop. Top clubs all over the continent are always on the lookout for the best and some of the off the cuff remarks stevie made over the season certainly did not help matters any. i sometime wished his mentality is like JC (now that is a true true red for you)

most important thing is to take all rumours with a huge dose of salt. stevie has said after the CL final that negotiations look good and just recently he is waiting for LFC to revert.
