I think Carlsberg extended the contract the day after the final

Yes we got a 2 year extension, the kit with the LG logo was obiviously a fake.

so much for loyaty from Carlsberg, if we didnt win they would have scarpered...

We should find a nice big sponsor and by the time we get round to renewing again, hopefully we will be a major force, then they will be begging to sponsor us - then we kick THEM in the teeth and unvail a massive sponsor, as long as we dont have to call the new stadium (if it ever happens!!) after them ala - the emirates stadium, the walker stadium, the reebok etc etc;

I personally would be delighted to see our new stadium sponsored. I mean let the pundits call it what they want. Give the sponsors what they want, give us tons of cash. But no matter what it will always be revered to as Anfield by the supporters, and at the end of the day thats the only name that really matters.
