Inter Milan are reviewing "two or three offers" from Premiership clubs for Turkey midfielder Belozoglu Emre.
Arsenal, Newcastle, Liverpool, Everton and Manchester United are reportedly interested in the 24-year-old.

"We've two or three offers from English Premier League teams for Emre," said Inter's sporting director Marco Branca.

"They're big clubs and they've been reported in the press," added Branca. "We'll evaluate the situation before making a decision."

Emre, who has a contract with Inter until June 2007, made 19 Serie A appearances in the 2004-05 campaign.

The talented playmaker arrived at Inter in 2001 - in a £5m deal that also led to Okan Buruk and Hakan Sukur being brought in from Galatasaray.

They're big clubs

Well that rules out Everton and Newcastle.

Yup.  Anton is Rio's brother.  20 years old and came through our youth setup.  Second half of the season him and Elliot Ward (another 20 year old youth team bloke) turned into the first decent centre back pair we've had in ages.  He currently plays for the U21s, and will hopefully turn out to be as good as his brother.

But our official site today came out and categorically denied that we were selling him.  So looks like standard S*n journalism.

As you were.

Liverpool have said today they are not monitering him anyway, just tabloid tales. :glare:

From tribalfootball.com -

The agent of Middlesbrough winger Stewart Downing is aware Tottenham are interested in the England international.
Downing's agent Ian Elliott told the Northern Echo: "I have heard the rumours about Tottenham. But, to be honest, I don't think Tottenham would be the only club interested in Stewart Downing if he became available.

"I would not be surprised if Tottenham were looking to bring him in."

almost certainly an agent looking to get someone a pay rise - but if Tottenham can afford him, then we should get in their first..........

Don't rate boa morte at all.

He has got pace and premiership experience, but thats it.  End product is poor.

What do people think about the rumours that real madrid are think about using michael owen in a player-plus-cash deal? the papers say they are looking to get 16 million for him. isn't that double what he was sold to them for?
As well, he is linked with a move to man u. I really hope to god this does not happen, as i still like to watch him play and but i don't think i can stomach watching him play for those w.ankers.
ps i looked else where for this topic, but failed to see a thread.
