I never said Gerrard would leave, I'm sure he will stay and I want that. It's clear we cannot accomodate Ballack, Gerrard and Alonso in the same side though, and we don't have that much money, so why would we get Ballack unless Gerrard is going?
In other words, we aren't going to sign Michael Ballack!

Regardless of your very subtle sarcasm, Hyypia is slowing down and Gallas is a top draw player.
If Gallas became available he would be a perfect player for us, centre half or right back.

Don't know if this has mentioned on here as yet, but apparently tomorrow's Sun is claiming that you're going to be paying/offering us 3 million for Anton Ferdinand. Personally, I'd really hope that this turns out to just be standard Sun journalism.

Anyone here heard anything?

eerr im not really sure how getting Gallas equates to getting rid of Sami..........as we are little thin in classy defensive stocks but i guess linking the two gave someone the chance to sound off at someone else and feel better about themselves

Anton Ferdinand is not Rio Ferdinand's cousin, he is his younger brother. I admit, I hate Manure Utd, so I am no Rio fan, but like him or hate him, he is one of the best central defenders in the world. If Anton turns out to be half as good as Rio, we could have a bargin at £3million. It would be nice to see the Reds finding jewels at cheap prices. I hate Arsenal finding gem after gem for low prices year after year. Cese, Toure, Senderos and now Van Persie haven't cost more than £7million all together!!! That is a third of a first team squad who managed to finish second!!!! Why can't we do the same? If Anton is going to be that good, I want in.

Luis Figo is now rumoured to be leaving Real for either Liverpool or Manure. Ha ha ha, just love close season rumours.
