I really hope that liverpool will win the uefa cup. If they do so, they will really have great confidence during the next season. As long as houllier makes the right decisions such as leaving out heskey, diao, biscan and makes baros play up front with owen, there IS hope for us..

will be extremely hard to win the uefa cup this season. forget valencia, i reckon the team to beat is celtic as they proved last year. celtic park is a fortress and frightens the life out of just about everyone who goes there. having said that we had the chances to beat them there last season and even though a draw was ok the 2nd leg was sh#te.

an austrian team called teplice. they're already 3-0 up from the first leg. they are definitely a team to avoid. just the passion of all their players and especially the manager is a lesson to everyone at our club. o'neill lives and breathes every minute of every game.

not a bad price. surely we're longer odds than the likes of valencia, roma and barcelona though.

Teplice is not austrian - they come from Slovakia ! At least I think so !

When you look at these teams it makes you realise how undervalued this competition is. It's not champions league but at least it's not fannying about with some dozy "mini league". It's full on straight knockout cup football and I love it ! Viva the uefa cup.

I think the ultimate match must be Roma vs L`pool. Then the two norwegian goodfellas Riise and Carew meet and challenge who`s the better man ! Without spitting or hitting ! :cool:
