what a sh!t day to have a birthday, right in the middle of your winter, at least if you live up here and have a winter birthday there's always Christmas to lift the mood a bit

having said that you live in oz so you're probably surfing and barbequeing your way through another horrific winter of 20c sunshine

This country is mate. They have major water restrictions here now cos the dam level is so low, would never happen in NZ or the UK for that matter.

Honestly Sydney's winter is like Auckland's summer.

we have the opposite of water restrictions here, the authorities tell you to leave your taps running for at least 6 hours a day in case the whole country overflows
