Lets be honest, Baros has not had one decent scoring season for us. I think most Liverpool fans won't be sad to see him go, except the ones who continually bum him!

I agree he must be gutted leaving Liverpool to join Real then have to watch us lift the cup, but I can't help but think if he hadn't of left we'd of finished 4th comfortably.

Owen 20 goals the season b4 last and he was injured for a large part of it. I'd have him back anyday

I've accepted he's gone just considering how much better we would of been. Nothing like home grown players and at this rate we're gunna be as bad a Chelsea for foreigners

Most probbably he is more than gutted. Although he did not play much, he did score a few goals. To be onest I do not think he can fit to benites plans. He is too static without the ball

I was gutted when he went because he had already got cisse then and the amount of times the ball went lose in the 6 yard box this season and no 1 was there to stick it in the net. We need a poucher like him!

Theres nothing we could have done to make Owen stay. It was his decision and no one else's so theres no point even talking about the 'ifs' and 'buts'.

Hes gone now we need to replace him properly. We have hit men in Cisse (who can also use his pace to get in behind) and morientes who is amazing in the air!!
