Rep of ireland - How will we do?

I think our centre halfs are okay. We have Dunne, Cunningham and O'Brien. I know they are not in the same class as Englands center halfs but they do a solid job. Also the french team can't seem to score at the minute. They have gone downhill in the last few years

Can't beleieve Ireland blew it in the 90th minute, they would have been well set. But that group is looking very interesting.

the irish had hard lines last night but they should have beaten israel comfortably. the israeli keeper could be an outside bet for the lead role in the next king lear with that performance but being fair to him he pulled of a `dudeksque` save from the point blank header at the end. his effort at keeping out harte`s free kick was poor though.
even when ireland went down to ten they still looked the better side but i was dissapointed in the way kerr went for the long ball tactics so early to try and bail them out.
it`s still in irelands hands thats the main thing.

Kerr is looking more and more out of his depth at international level. In our last 3 games i dont think we got 5-6 passes together once. This pathetic long ball up to doherty tactic wont get us anywhere against a decent defence.

Also, thanks a lot for f*cking up in the game in Tel Aviv. I'd 8 teams in an accumalator(italy, austria, england, czech republic, holland, spain, ireland and 1 other) and ireland were the only ones to let me down.
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,

that always happens to me because the odds are usually that :censored: on international coupons you have to throw about 10 teams in on your coupon to get about 3/1.

A result against France is a must, a win would be fantastic, but a draw in that game and a win against Switzerland at home should see us through I think.

The 4-3-3 was a disaster against Italy and I think we'll revert to 4-4-2 against the French.  Assuming we have no injuries/suspensions I'd go for...

Good luck to the ROI ! The groups looking really tight with 3 even at the top!
Id be surprised if they can beat france but hope they get something from the game because id love to see them making the finals!

Good result for NI yesterday as well Barry.

I hope Sanchez can turn it around, but he seems to be falling out with a lot of the players.  McCartney, Hughes and now Mulryne and Whitley.  Add that to the Lennon situation (although that's no fault of Sanchez's) and Lomas not getting a look-in, for a small country NI really needs all of the players they can get.  What do you think of Sanchez?

I like the look of that Davis who plays with Villa, good player.  Gillespie looks like he's sorted himself out as well.  And I notice the young lad playing in goal for Liverpool reserves these days is Northern Irish.

yeah it was nice that they won for a change! :D
I know we have'nt got great players and will never be a great team but i dont rate Sanchez as a manager, but unfortunately because we are so bad hes probably the best we can attract!
The young fella your talking about john, yeah he grew up  near where i live now! I dont know him personally but a guy outta our club knows him well and says hes a top bloke! Hope he does well !! Would be great if a local fella broke into the 1st team

I have a long memory as well mate.Last time England played in Dublin your boys kicked the sh.it out of several women and kids as well as smashing up the stadium and getting the match abandoned. We were winning as well.A few Argie flags in temple bar hardly compares, does it. ???

looking dodgy. We haven't beaten anyone better than Albania since Kerr took over.

I had thought he was a good choice but he is not doing a good job. Not to beat Isreal in two games is poor. We have some very good players and are in a weak group. Not to finish top two would be poor.

Important couple of days coming up for the Irish,a question for all you Irish lads.

If you fail to qualify would you stick with Kerr for a while and hang round for Roy Keane,or appoint someone with more expierience.
