I have just thought to myself Liverpool might not win the Premiership in the next 5 years or so.Ihope not.We are never going t win that because Chelsea will just keep bringing in the best players and they have the money but saying that we do now though don't we.

I am a liverpool fan i just wanna see your opinions see if you think it is gonna happen

At the beginning of the season winning the Champs League was only a dream. Anything can happen right? Surely what happended last week is testimony to that. The direct answer is yes. We can win the Premiership trophy.

I've waited 15 long years but I have a feeling we'll do it soon enough.

Winning the CL was startling and a miracle and while we need huge improvement in the league, bnext season will bring a dramatic improvement in form, methinks.

Money is great, but BELIEF is what it's about. As a neutral (let's face it, West Ham ain't gonna be challenging you on League position) it's great to see Liverpool about to mount a serious challenge on the big three. If you BELIEVE something is possible, then it BECOMES possible. Liverpool have given everyone a boost by realising that if you BELIEVE you can ACHIEVE.

I personally think the soul is what it matters. Can you guys really compare LFC with AC Milan? AC Milan has one of the best defenses in European leagues.. But the world saw it, LFC just stepped on the pitch, and took the cup from them on the 2nd half. If I was a LFC fan, I would never ever lose my belief upon my team. Because I can see the potential in LFC. Its the hunger to success story.. way to go..

I must admit I think us winning the title next year is asking a bit too much, however within 5 years it may just happen. I mean Chelski may dominate for some time but anything can happen. Real madrid have not won anything for two seasons and their team is worth more than any squad on earth, money doesn't buy you the right to win things. If we strengthen, keep Rafa and Gerrard I can see us mounting  serious challenge season after next

I think LFC can be compared with any team in the world.
And i would have told you that before the CL final,we also had one
of the best defensive records in the competiton.

I do agree it is the soul, mindset or what ever you want to call it
that helped us win the cup.

Pulling that first goal back gave us the confidence and the springboard to get back into the match ,and we looked the hungrier for it.

So that result in Turkey will do us no harm and stand us in good sted for the next domestic campaign.
Ok so a few of the players will have left the club ,and the league
isnt a one off game. But the players that do stay along with the added quality being brought in should have a REAL winning mentallity.
I personally believe it was our mentallity that made us fall 37 points behind Chelski, not our ability.
And although i dont think we will win the league next year we will give a better challenge to it.Who knows maybe the year after.
But i do know that winning the CL was a truly amazing feeling,
and the players along with the fans will want that feeling again.
It will make them hungrier and it will be the perfect platform to challenge for the title.

Sorry , I disagree with you .... I really hope that Liverpool will win PL soon. Yes Chelsea have a lot of money but we have RB. If we win PL over chelsea .... It's show that you can have a lot of money but you can't buy success.... Success will bring world class players to the club.

I really looking forward for next season .... COME ON!!!! Liverpool !!!

Anything can happen, I never thought Arsenal would go undefeated through an entire season, I think with the added depth we will add to the team in the next year or two we should be in a good position to make a serious challenge for top spot

I hope this is the beginning to better things.

Rafa Benithez is an intelligent man, and he has been successful before on more than 1 occassion at clubs which challenged the established order and prevailed on top. He will learn from his mistakes and it is reasonable to expect him to come out with a stronger team to seriously challenge for the EPL title rather than just compete for 4th place.

Generally, you can spot talented coaches by the way they do things and get results from what they have at their disposal. These talented company in the EPL includes Maurinho, Wenger, Fergie (although is main strength is motivation rather than outright coaching, that is why he has an assistant who handles the coaching side all of the time) and Moyes.

I think we're at least 3 seasons away. We can beat anybody on our day but we lost 14 games in the league last season and were closer to bottom than top for the second year in a row. We can win any cup competition but not up there with Chelsea yet.

Looking forward to next season already.

If we do well next season and Chelsea fail again in europe I reckon it will only be natural for Abramovich to start asking why having ploughed millions into the club his side can't win the champions league and yet Benitez has done it on a shoe string budget.
