Excellent news. Hamann is still a class player as he proved in the final, and seeing as we are probably going to need to buy a replacement for Biscan (Hargreaves?), it would've been a bit of a pain having to spend money on 2 new central midfielders when there are so many other areas to improve.

Still has a lot to offer and im sure with a long season and injurires he will get plenty of opportunites to perform

Glad to read that the Kaiser has agreed to stay an extra year ,he is a

Good decision by Hamann. How could he leave a Champion side like the LFC!

In order to compete for all competitions next year, Hamann is needed. Really good to hear he is staying.

no doubt that hamann is a class midfield player.after all,he's the one who changed things as a sub last week.glad that Liverpool offered him a 1 yr extension.hooray !!

i think so....

So many times i have watched games where Hamman has sacrificed his offensive skills and stayed back in defence tolet players like Gerrad shine, passes the ball beautifully, also you see so many smart professional fouls when it matters most. He is pure class
