To the pickpocket who stole my sons match tickets, passport and return flight tickets:
I hope you get a terminale desease that is painful and you die in agony.
To the turkish police and Attaturk stadium officials:
You are useless, uncompasionate and downright inept and I hope that your country never again holds such an important event again.
To the ticket touts:
Those of you who tried to take advantage of a Liverpool fan who was obviously in distress and was desperate to see his team play in the most important game of his life:
How could you treat a fellow fan with such contempt and I hope one day you will need compassion and help when you and desperate and I hope someone rips you off too.
To the true fans of Liverpool who recognised how desperate and upset my son was having travelled to see his team on this special night being almost ruined by a thief and the inadequate local authorities:
Thank you for your help and kindness only a true fans could give under these circumstances. You kindly gave him money to buy some more tickets so he could see the game.
He walked for two hours in the dark, with his head down and he was afraid. But with you he had hope and he did not have to walk on his own. He will never walk on his own any more because he still has faith in people and the true spirit of the Liverpool true fans who will help one another. He saw the game and his beloved Liverpool win the Champions League cup. He is 23 and does not remember the last time so this was the special one.
Thank you again and god bless you who ever you are.
