I'm not a religious person but have had pointed out to me a snippet out of the Bible which makes uncanny reading...

'The Romans will fall in the east, by a red wave led by a Spanish warlord.
The red wave will be victorius on the 5th battle.'

To Tranlate
'The Romans (AC MILAN) will fall in the east(TURKEY), by a red wave(LIVERPOOL) led by a Spanish warlord (RAFA).
The red wave will be victorius on the 5th battle.(GOING FOR 5TH EUROPEAN CUP)'
Did we have devine intervention?

not bad but Milan isn't Rome and i dont think milanians would apreciate being called romans, bit like someone calling us mancs

Yes but when this was writen all of Italy was known as the Roman Empire. So any one from italy was classed as a Roman.

beaty59 - can you tell me where that is in the Bible? Spain didn't exist in the first century so I'm at least a little skepticle!

In answer to your question, yes we did have devine intervention.

That second part of Dudeks save two mins from end of extra time was and still is impossible.

I'm not a relgious person either but do try to avoid buying whatever is shovelled at me . What's the book ,chapter and verse your little snippet is in ?

I do kind of believe in divine intervention.
Ibrahimnovic hitting the post at that angle at the end of the match in Turin, then Traore clearing it.
Gudjohnson missing from 2 yards in the injury time at Anfield.
The 2nd save by Dudek off Shevchenko.

All pretty mad stuff, any of those 3 goals would have ended our dream for sure

for spanish warlord = no spain (as pointed out)
for 5th battle = errr.. how many finals?

its like with nostradamus, if you see anything general enough and you want to believe something you'll find what you want.

biblical sayings are often metaphoric..

.. as already said.. Milan is in Italy which was in old times the Roman Empire
Rafa=spanish warlord connection... and the players
5th eqauls our fifth historical win.. for keeps.. and look at the impact it's had 1 million on the streets worldwide acclaim.. a happy moment for so many .. :bowdown
