The reason for the confusion is that every large European organisation is full of under worked over paid bureaucrats who love nonsensical debates about rubbish. Galliard is doing little more than playing devils advocate to overplay his significance as a two-bit spokesman for UEFA. All the points about the sponsors hits the nail on the head and i dont think this topic is really up for debate. UEFA are showing themselves to be unable to satisfy the requirements of European Football by allowing this debate to even exist! The fact that they cant move their meeting forward to squash the rumour mill is making these power brokers of our European game look incompetent.
In: Joaquin and Rosicky both Dortmund and Betis need the money! Also we should try for Crouch, Andy Johnson, SWP and Upson but forget it if they want to hammer us on price. Otherwise bring through the youngsters, i dont want anymore GK's because we've got 3 already who could get in to most teams in the Premiership! We need a quick defender and we're desperate for someone to play in the Hamann role 'IF' he leaves!
