Mo is already gone, has left and taken off.... - ....to another club ?!

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Thor Viking » Fri Feb 27, 2004 12:19 pm

I`ve seen the two matches vs Pompey and read some of the posts here, and I must say It seems to me as MO already is another place, at least with his head.
His performances are lacking enthusiasm and determination, and he seems fed up alltogether!  ???  :(

Any comments ?

MO's been gone for ages, and hes not coming back.  He won't play with his heart in it for the rest of the season, his mind will be elsewhere.  Too bad for us, we had our chance.

Yup! Levski will sign with MO on the 4th of May right after the game in Sofia - it depends on his performance, of course - we don't take random players with suspicious image :D

Owen is playing to get away..his body language says it all! i would cash in on him now get £25-30mill...and buy 2or 3 quality players...for next season? allthough i dont think i  would trust gh with that money he will buy more average players with limited ability, and they will most prob be french   :(

Owen fancies life in the sun. Made his reputation with us and now he's had enough. What price loyalty ? Thats football nowadays. :(

I still have enough faith in his sense of honour and affinity with the club that he won't do a Shaggy and wait until he can leave for nothing, I would imagine that he will allow us to command a decent fee. Having said that it depends what Madrid are saying to him I guess..... :(

I'm not convinced Owen wants to go, and I doubt he'll move in the summer given his partner's recent accident.

Robert Earnshaw as Owen's replacement? YOU HAVE TO BE JOKING.

Earnshaw has done very well this season at division one level and bagged a hat trick against a terrible Scottish side but as low as we are we can still afford to look at the Djbril Cisse's of this world and not Robert Earnshaw.

We are Liverpool after all, not Birmingham City.

Why not go for Kezman or Van Hoijdonk. The dutch players have had, and still have, success in PL. And VH has been here before, at Forest ? :D

Some of Owen's perfromances have been poor lately. But last night he played ok. He got chances and kept the ball moving well and passed the ball intelligently. He did conceed possession far more than usual last nite tho.

To be honest i think if he does go we won't miss him as much as people think.

He is world class, i just don't think this new system suits him.

I wouldn't consider him a direct replacement but in any case I'd much rather stick 2mill on Earnshaw than 13mill on yet another untried Frenchman to fall flat on his a#se. Let's face it Foollier's no Wenger in this department.

As for van der Vaart.....yeah righto Ant, our days of being able to sign a player of his profile are long gone mate....

Why go for another fast player with clearly limited technical scills. There`s more to it than just running fast !
