If memory serves me didn't PSV win the European Cup in 1988....they didn't have any stars and AC only had one....surely they've won it more than once....
Italian teams put a star on for every 10 league titles, think AC have 17 of them. Something Rangers decided to do after Celtic had put 1 star (Euro Cup) on their strip.
All a bit pointless imo.

typical Rangers - can't accept it.
All the stars stuff is bullsh1te anyway, just like bracelets players wear now for anything and bandages over rings (finger and ear) why not just take them off.
Hairbands too.
