I'm going to guess 40 million. With the chairman piching in, the money we regulary have available and the CL money[obiviously not all of it] pluus sales of certain players [Kewell,Dudek,Baros,and the rest who are not leaving on a bosman]

Have to admit i will be glad to see the back of Baros if he leaves ,so we can fill his place in with a goalscorer .

Yeah off load him in the summer he's young so we should get a good price.

When Owen was here all he did was moan that he wasn't starting games. Then Owen left and Cisse broke his leg. Perfect opotunity for Baros but he just hasn't delivered.

I don't doubt he's a good player, we all saw how good he was in the European Champs last year its just Liverpool require a certain type of striker and he doesn't seem to fit it. In another premiership team i think he would be very effective so we need to make sure the price is right.

It looks like it will be a busy summer - I think someone in the media stated that at least 12 new players would come in, with 5-6 out. I doubt it will be that many, but then again, Rafa has repeatedly stated that the squad isn't big enough - so who knows.

Roll on July & August!!!

I really thought this was going to be Baros season. I fully expected him to shine with first team football and score 20+ goals...sad fact is, he isn't up to it. He might be ok in the Spanish league, but as we all saw against Everton, when you give him the opportunity, and pressure, he folds. Get rid, hopefully he'll have a good cl final and we can get 15 million for him!

sad baros..... i thought he was gonna be amazing after his excellent performance in Euro... but o well.. season's over... he hasn't got enough goals... we seriously need a goal scorer... not a ball hogger

We will only get about 8 mill for Baros if we are lucky.
I dont reckon he will play in the final and if he comes on his attitude better be right.

He was fine up until December and I think had scored 10 goals by then. The reason for this is because he was considered the main man and our main goal threat and lead the line himself. Then with the arrival of Morientes Rafa clearly showed more faith in him and I think it just had a bad effect on him mentally which is why since January his best performances have come in the Champions League where he had been the only forward we could really select.

guys.....

lets continue this baros debate until after the champions league final....lets remember. He is still an important member of our squad...if we are to win the champions league..he will have to play a big part in it too.
