Maybe Glazer is a closet LFC fan and will close down the club!!! and use old trafford for our reserves to train in.

columbia wrote:This could be bad news for the whole of the premier league. The rumour is Man Utd may pull out of the sky deal in order for them to have there own t.v deal. This would mean that the value of the sky deal would be much less and smaller clubs could loose a LOT of money as t.v right generate millions each year for all the clubs in the premiership. I think then the other big clubs in the premiership may be forced to do the same thing(liverpool, arsenal, chelsea) because we would stand to loose aswell which would leave the smaller teams in the premiership crippled.

I no it might sound quite funny now that united could well be :censored: but looking at the bigger picture this isnt just a bad day for manchester united, its a bad day for football aswell. Money is ruining football more and more everyday and to be honest the fact that someone can just buy a club in the way he has and for the reasons he has sickens me.  :(

exactly why united cant moan about their present predicament. their not worried what effect pulling out of the sky deal would have on football in general, they are just worried about making money, this idea was muted months ago so it has nothing to do with glaser.
i find it so ironic that united fans can actually protest like their club is some family owned sporting club whose corinthian values are being wrecked by outside greedy moneymen. the whole club is built on the pursuit of cash.

At least he isn't connected to the Russian mafia (not suggesting that any other premiership owners are!!).

At least he is not a Thai politician who can't tell his money from his countries and human rights are unknown to.

At least his isn't a tabloid owning scumbag who steals from people's pensions.

At least he hasn't made his fortune from porn.

It isn't exactly an illustrious list.

You can add "At least he didn't star in Cornation Street" to that list, Niall!
