We haven't been linked with Owen, there's just some of our fans who can't get over Michael Owen and are 100 percent sure that he will return when it's never going to happen.

If life were that easy. Defoe has extended his contract with Spurs and they have doubled his wages in order to make him stay, he's not worth breaking the bank for.

I don't know but he won't spend 25 million on Defoe. Defoe is a good player but he's overpriced like most English players.

10 millions far too much for Johnson, i wouldn't touch him at that price. As for 25 million for Defoe, it's absolutely ridiculous. You have to consider that Michael Owen only went for 8 million and he is supposed to be England's No1 striker!! :devil:

You also have to consider that he had 11 months on his contract, and was at least thinking of moving on, and a club could have agreed a contract in 6 months to take him for free in the summer. Don't ignore all the facts.
