Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Stan Laurel » Wed Feb 25, 2004 12:23 am

I know you all are feeling frustrated, betrayed and p1ssed off.

Most of people are talking about Thommo, he is the right man for Liverpool's job? Bollox!!! There is no way to have him, so we need an experience manager who can bring the glory back to the club, I know alot of Liverpool fans would like to see MON to takeover, but it will be 50/50.

I wondering about the guy called Gus Hiddick of PSV Eindhoven coach, used to be Holland and South Korea coach. He had alot of experiences European games, so I am sure Liverpool fans are not keen to have another foriegn coach to takeover from GH, so I am asking you all about those guy called Gus Hiddick, what do you think of him and do you all think he's right man for Liverpool's job?

Thanks.

Fair shout! He has an enthusiam for attacking play too. Never thought of him, but probably a no with the majority, because he's foreign and Houllier has left a bad taste in the mouth over that one.

A good pedigree, wrong time Stan. We need o'neill he the personality of Clough, Shanks and Fergie, not afraid to say what he REALLY feels

True, mate.

But what if MON turned down to take over and stick with Celtic, I do agree with you we need like Clough, Shanks, Fergie. Very good point.

We should try get Gus, he is exactly same as Clough, Shanks and Fergie, he is one of toughest b@stard coach in Europe, that will great boost for Liverpool.

It was a major surprise to the footballworld when south Korea made it to the semifinals in 2002. However, I think it is easier to do something with a team that has no culture for football or strong personalities. I mean, in LFC there are many who think they know how to do things, both on and off the pitch !
:p
Right now I think someone has to make the LFC system really BELIEVE that they can reach the top again ! I do believe that the players are good enough, but they need to not just think they are good enough - BUT BELIEVE IT TOO !!
