i use feedreader, and put this on it: http://www.liverpoolfc-newkit.co.uk/iB3_html/non-cgi/ssi/Tiker.txt
but the feeder didn't feed me anything

Do you know if feedreader expects the RSS file to have the .xml file extension rather than .txt?

The .txt file extension never give me anything to be fair. I'm going away for the weekend, so it will probably be Monday before I get a chance to play with this.

If you fo a right mouse click on the link http://www.liverpoolfc-newkit.co.uk/iB3_html/non-cgi/ssi/Tiker.txt and select save target as.... and save the file to your local machine. Open this saved file in notepad or a similar text editor you will see the RSS XML Feed is there, it may not be compatible with all reader I guess?

i have no idea if it's about compatibility, i will maybe download and try another reader ware later.
but in my feedreader, it reads and processes the address (with .txt) but only to respond with "this feed doesn't contain items"

the latest posts format works well and i've already bookmarked it. it's pretty useful.

does this -the RSS address provided by Chris, work for any of you? maybe Jmac? If so, can you tell me what feeder ware you use?
