im f##king sad, i dont think i can sleep tonight, o dont blame michael for missing the penelty, i blame the whole team overall, the defence is looking shakey and it got opened up by pompe attackers, mikey missed the penelty but these things happen

i guess murphy should have taken it...

i really hate GH, but sometimes you gotta have feelings for him,

but we must look on the bright side, ars is gonna kick pompeys ***** at the fa cup next round and besides we still very near the champions league spot. but im still p#ssed off.

i wished god was on our side today and sadly he's not... :(  :(  :(

Kid on, the champions league, qualifiers only , that shower of s##t won't get thru. We have become the most boring team in the prem, even Boro are classier.

Don't give that f##k anymore money fire him.

We are in europe against Sofia what a mouth waterer:angry:

Watching the Pompey game, I believe that this has been the story of Liverpool for the past 2 seasons. The goal was a gift, I mean what were the defenders doing not picking up Hughes who had all the time and space to place his shot into the far corner like that?
The strikers and other so-called attacking players have become planks when it comes to finishing and the defenders can't defend anymore. Champions' League football next season? Forget it!
Like you all, I am also p!ssed off...

It hurts. the only silver lining is that, we have one less match to play. Lets face it, there is no way we could beat arsenal playing like this. Hopefully kewell recovers from his ankle injury. And Diouf comes back. Must try to salvage something from this season...........

i am absolutely embarassed tonight because lfc have turned into an absolute joke. if we can't beat pompey when they have 15 first team players out then there is something wrong. i just can't defend their attitude anymore. we did f#ck all until they scored. cheyrou and le tallec did nowt but give the ball away all day, heskey is sh#te, owen looks like he can't be bothered and we are generally a laughing stock. i'm not p#ssed off that we lost, it's the manner of the defeat which bugs me the most. it's sad that this once great club has now descended into this. get houllier out.

i agree. to be associated with lfc is an absolute embarassment at the moment. i'm getting laughed at left right and centre by all-comers because we are so sh#t. how cautious were we today until going 1-0 down? shankly would turn in his grave if he saw this current joke of a side.

la tallec's criticism is a bit unfair.  He's a kid.  But Heskey...Im speechless.

I don't like to single out one particular player when we have lost as it is  a team effort but I have to agree that Heskey was p#ss poor today.
But it is hardly the first time is it ? How much of an impression has he made in the last 3 seasons.
After a quiet start he had a great first full season ( the treble ) and then went downhill therafter. In too many games he is a mere passenger , despite his apparent strength and pace , too often feigning a limp when the going gets tough.
This man was our record signing don't forget , over 10 million quid to Leicester for a promising rather than prolific forward.
The net result is that after almost 4 years he has played 208 games for us in all competitions and scored wait for it .....56 goals. That is a rate of a goal virtually every 4 games. Not good enough at that price.
How much would we get for him now ?

The whole team GAWD! Owens ran outa excuses...he has an attitude and hes simply goin thru the motions,The defence is grim too especially the great Hypia huh! flog em all except Carragher ,Gerrard and Kewell or bring on the reserves,at least we will see a team TRYING to play football.

I know your mad lads and its hard to defend LFC after a performance like that today against a scratch Pompey team. With the exception of Gerrard, Carragher, Hammann and Baros the players today have to take a long hard look at themselves, when a Player who has been out for 4 months comes on for 45 mins (Baros) and displays the kind of performance that disgraced his co players its a porr show.......... GH can no longer motivate this expensive and underperforming squad.... the shows over GH.........

There is a silver lining to all this though with every game that Liverpool lose we are a step closert to being rid if GH. I don't want to be someone calling for his head but when his team put in such an incipid, lifeless performance as yesterday I just couldn't be bothered

If only it were that simple simic.ie, David Moores does not have the backbone to sack GH though and there's no way the excuse-ridden, blind french tw#t will resign...

Agree about Baros though, what a ray of sunshine he was. I'm not sure I agree with the Hyppia bating though, now that the old partnership with Henchoz is bedded in I don't feel it's so bad, certainly a big improvement on Biscan't or Traore!!
